Herman Ralph Wehmeier (February 18, 1927 – May 21, 1973) was a right-handed pitcher who spent 13 seasons in the major leagues after signing with the Cincinnati Reds out of Western Hills High School in Cincinnati. He pitched for the Reds (1945, 1947–54), Philadelphia Phillies (1954–56), St. Louis Cardinals (1956–58), and Detroit Tigers (1958), finishing with a 92–108 record, 1,803 innings pitched, and a 4.80 ERA across 240 starts. He led the National League in walks allowed three times (1949, 1950, 1952) and in earned runs allowed in 1950.
