Hobie Landrith (March 16, 1930 – April 6, 2023) was an American baseball catcher who played 14 seasons in Major League Baseball from 1950 to 1963. He appeared in 772 games with a career batting average of .233, 34 home runs, and 203 runs batted in. He played for the Cincinnati Reds, Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals, San Francisco Giants, Washington Senators, New York Mets, and Baltimore Orioles, generally serving as a backup catcher noted for his defense and handling of pitchers. He was the first player selected by the New York Mets in the 1961 expansion draft.
