Hosea Siner

Hosea John was born March 20, 1885 in Sullivan, Indiana, and died June 10, 1948 in Sullivan, Indiana. He made his major-league debut in 1909 and was associated chiefly with the Boston Braves, appearing in only that single season. His broader professional career — including minor-league service — extended through 1913. He was listed at 185 pounds, and batted and threw right-handed. His likeness survives in the cardboard record on the E254 Colgan's Chips issue. He is buried at Mount Zion Cemetery in New Lebanon, Indiana.
