Howard Fest (born April 11, 1946) is a former professional football offensive lineman who played in the AFL and NFL. He attended Thomas Edison High School in San Antonio and played college football at the University of Texas, where he began as a tight end before moving to offensive tackle. Selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the sixth round of the 1968 NFL/AFL Draft, Fest was an original member of the franchise and spent eight seasons with the club. Playing tackle and later guard, he earned the nickname "Mr. Consistency" from teammates, never missing a game across 112 appearances during his time in Cincinnati.
