Howie Meeker

Howie Meeker (November 4, 1923 – November 8, 2020) was a Canadian right wing who played in the National Hockey League for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He won the Calder Memorial Trophy as the league's top rookie and is one of a small number of NHL players to score five goals in a single game. Meeker won four Stanley Cups, all with Toronto, and was the last surviving member of the 1947, 1949, and 1951 championship teams. After his playing career he became a television colour commentator on Hockey Night in Canada and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame as a broadcaster.
