Dossier
Jack Ross Lee (1938–2016) was a professional football quarterback who played all ten seasons of the American Football League (1960–1969). He played college football at the University of Cincinnati, where he earned back-to-back MVP honors in 1958 and 1959, and was named MVP of the 1960 Senior Bowl. The Houston Oilers selected him as the first quarterback ever drafted in AFL history. He backed up George Blanda on Houston's 1960 and 1961 AFL Championship teams, setting an AFL record with 457 passing yards against Boston in 1961 and a 98-yard touchdown pass to Willard Dewveall. In 1964, he became the only player ever "lend-leased" to another AFL franchise, the Denver Broncos.
