Jacque MacKinnon

Dossier
Jacque Harold MacKinnon (November 10, 1938 – March 6, 1975) was an American professional football tight end who played college football at Colgate University. He spent most of his professional career with the San Diego Chargers of the American Football League, having been selected by the club in the 33rd round of the 1962 AFL draft. Originally chosen by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 1961 NFL draft as the final pick — a distinction later known as Mr. Irrelevant — MacKinnon was the only player to hold that designation and earn an All-Star selection, until Brock Purdy in 2024. He later played for the Oakland Raiders and the Southern California Sun of the World Football League.
