Jeff Halliburton is an American basketball player born on July 3, 1949. A 6'5" guard, he transferred to Drake University from San Jacinto Junior College and played for the Bulldogs from 1969 to 1971, earning first-team All-Missouri Valley Conference honors both seasons and MVC Player of the Year as a senior while helping Drake reach consecutive NCAA Tournament Regional Finals. The Atlanta Hawks selected him in the third round of the 1971 NBA Draft (39th overall). He spent parts of two NBA seasons with Atlanta and the Philadelphia 76ers, averaging 9.5 points per game with Philadelphia in 1972–73. He is a cousin of Julius Erving.
