Jeff Heath (1915-1975) was a Canadian-born left fielder in Major League Baseball who played most of his career with the Cleveland Indians. A power hitter who emerged in the late 1930s and early 1940s, he twice led the American League in triples, batting at least .340 with more than 100 runs batted in in each of those seasons. In 1941 he was selected to his first All-Star Game and became the first American League player to reach the 20-20-20 club, hitting 20 doubles, 20 triples, and 20 home runs in the same season. He was also named an All-Star in 1943 and 1945. During the 1946 season he played for the Washington Senators and the St. Louis Browns, and in 1948 he moved to the National League's Boston Braves. Over his career he recorded 1,447 hits, 194 home runs, and a .293 batting average.
