Garet Neal Reichow (born May 19, 1934) played quarterback and tight end in the NFL after a standout career at the University of Iowa, where he was an All-Big Ten quarterback, team MVP as a senior, and left as the school's all-time leader in total offense. He also appeared in the 1955 basketball Final Four with the Hawkeyes. Detroit selected him in the fourth round of the 1956 NFL draft, and he contributed to the Lions' 1957 NFL championship as a receiver and backup, throwing a 17-yard touchdown pass to Hopalong Cassady in the title game. He later joined the Minnesota Vikings and earned a Pro Bowl selection following their inaugural 1961 season.
