James Conacher (born May 5, 1921, in Motherwell, Scotland; raised in Toronto, Ontario) was a Canadian ice hockey forward who played in the NHL from 1945 to 1952. He skated for the Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Black Hawks, and New York Rangers, recording 85 goals and 117 assists for 202 points in 328 career games. Following his playing career, he worked as an advertising salesman for newspaper companies in Toronto. He died on April 9, 2020, at the age of 98.
