Jim Lefebvre was a switch-hitting infielder who broke in with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1965, winning the National League Rookie of the Year after batting .250 with 12 home runs and 69 RBI in 157 games. That season he was part of an all-switch-hitting Dodgers infield alongside Jim Gilliam, Wes Parker, and Maury Wills, and the club won the World Series. In 1966 he hit .274 with 24 home runs and 74 RBI, earning a start at second base in the MLB All-Star Game. He later played four seasons in Japan with the Lotte Orions before transitioning to a coaching and managing career.
