Jim McGlothlin

Jim McGlothlin (October 6, 1943 – December 23, 1975), nicknamed "Red," was a right-handed pitcher who spent nine seasons in Major League Baseball. Born in Los Angeles, he signed with the Los Angeles Angels as an amateur free agent in 1962 after graduating from Reseda High School. He pitched for the California Angels (1965–1969), Cincinnati Reds (1970–1973), and Chicago White Sox (1973). McGlothlin died of a rare form of leukemia on December 23, 1975, at age 32.
