James Henry "Sunny Jim" Dygert (July 5, 1884 – February 7, 1936) was born in Utica, New York. His professional career ran from 1905 through 1910, placing him squarely in the deadball era, and he is most closely identified with the Philadelphia Athletics of the AL. After his major-league days ended in 1910, he continued in professional ball through 1913. He was listed at 5'10" and 158 pounds. He batted and threw right-handed.
