Jimmy Peters

James Meldrum Peters Sr. (October 2, 1922 – December 28, 2007) was a Canadian ice hockey centre and forward who played nine seasons in the National Hockey League between 1945 and 1954. Born in Verdun, Quebec, he played for the Montreal Canadiens, Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings, and Chicago Black Hawks. Peters won the Stanley Cup three times: with Montreal in 1946 and with Detroit in 1950 and 1954. His son, Jimmy Peters Jr., also played in the NHL.
