Joseph Washington "Jellybean" Bryant (October 19, 1954 – July 15, 2024) was a forward who played college basketball at La Salle University before being drafted by the Golden State Warriors and traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. He spent four seasons in Philadelphia (1975–1979), where the 1976–77 team reached the NBA Finals before falling to the Portland Trail Blazers four games to two. Teammates that season included Julius Erving, Doug Collins, and George McGinnis. Bryant was traded to the San Diego Clippers prior to the 1979–80 season and later played for the Houston Rockets, as well as professional clubs in Italy and France.
