Joe Moeller

Joseph Douglas Moeller Jr. (born February 15, 1943, Blue Island, Illinois) was a right-handed pitcher who played for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 1962 to 1971. Raised in Manhattan Beach, California, he attended Mira Costa High School, where he posted a 0.44 ERA as an All-Conference pitcher before signing with the Dodgers alongside his brother Gary for a combined bonus of $100,000, with Joe receiving approximately $75,000. He became the youngest starting pitcher in Dodgers history, making his first start at 19 years and 2 months of age.
