John Arbour

Dossier
John Gilbert Arbour (born September 28, 1945) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played in both the National Hockey League and the World Hockey Association. A stocky, physical blueliner, Arbour came up through the Boston Bruins organization before being sold to the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1968. He was among the six players who transitioned with the Vancouver Canucks from the Western Hockey League into the NHL in 1970, and was later traded to the St. Louis Blues mid-season. His only full NHL campaign was 1970–71, during which he recorded his lone career NHL goal across 66 games split between Vancouver and St. Louis. He later joined the Minnesota Fighting Saints of the WHA in 1972.
