Charles White was an American football running back who played nine seasons in the NFL from 1980 to 1988. He played college football at the University of Southern California, where he was a two-time unanimous All-American. In 1979, he won the Heisman Trophy, Maxwell Award, Walter Camp Award, and was named UPI Player of the Year. Selected by the Cleveland Browns in the first round (27th overall) of the 1980 NFL Draft, White also played for the Los Angeles Rams during his professional career.
