John Knight (October 6, 1885 – December 19, 1965), known as "Schoolboy", was born John Wesley and hailed from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Listed at 180 pounds, he batted right-handed and threw right. He played in the major leagues from 1905 through 1913, an 8-season run, spending most of his career with the New York Yankees of the American League. He continued to play professionally through 1928 after his major-league career closed.
