John Montefusco, nicknamed "The Count," was a right-handed pitcher who played in Major League Baseball from 1974 to 1986. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey, he spent the core of his career with the San Francisco Giants, earning the National League Rookie of the Year Award in 1975.
