John Rapacz

John Rapacz (April 25, 1924 – January 2, 1991) was an NFL offensive lineman who played college football and baseball at the University of Oklahoma, earning All-American honors in football. He was drafted in the third round of the 1947 NFL Draft by the Boston Yanks and went on to play in the All-America Football Conference with the Chicago Rockets/Hornets before joining the New York Giants. In 1954 he was traded to the Baltimore Colts and retired following the 1955 season. After his playing career he returned to school, completed his degree, and became a teacher and football coach at Hackett Catholic Central High School in Michigan, later earning induction into the Michigan High School Hall of Fame.
