John Louis Blatnik (March 10, 1921 – January 21, 2004) was an American outfielder in Major League Baseball who played from 1948 to 1950. Born in Bridgeport, Ohio, he batted and threw right-handed. Blatnik played for the Philadelphia Phillies (1948–1950) and the St. Louis Cardinals (1950). As a rookie in 1948 he was the Phillies' regular left fielder, appearing in a career-high 121 games while batting .260, and he led National League outfielders with nine assists. Injuries limited him to 28 games over his final two seasons. Over 138 career games he batted .243 with 113 hits, 6 home runs, and 46 runs batted in. His career fell within the post-World War II era.
