John "Noisy" Kling (November 13, 1875 – January 31, 1947). Born and died in Kansas City, Missouri. Listed at 160 pounds, batted right-handed and threw right. He worked the major leagues from 1900 through 1913, spending the bulk of his career with the Boston Braves of the National League. He had turned professional back in 1895, several seasons before his big-league debut. He also took the reins as a major-league manager during the 1912 season. Among collectors of the era, his card appearance is anchored by the E254 Colgan's Chips issue. He is interred at Mount Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri.
