Kenneth Roth Forsch was a right-handed pitcher who played in Major League Baseball from 1970 to 1984. Born in Sacramento, California, he attended Oregon State University before being selected by the Houston Astros in the 18th round of the 1968 draft. Forsch spent the majority of his career with Houston, earning All-Star selections in 1976 and 1981. On April 7, 1979, he no-hit the Atlanta Braves 6–0 at the Astrodome. He was part of the Astros club that won the National League Western Division title in 1980, the franchise's first postseason berth. He finished his career with the California Angels.
