Kenneth Don Gray (1936–2017) was a professional football guard who spent 13 seasons in the NFL with the Chicago/St. Louis Cardinals and the Houston Oilers. Born in San Saba, Texas, he attended Llano High School before earning an athletic scholarship to Howard Payne University, where he played tackle from 1954 to 1957. At Howard Payne he earned All-Lone Star Conference honors and Little All-American recognition. He graduated in 1958 with a degree in history and education before beginning his professional career.
