Kenneth Doraty

Dossier

Kenneth Edward Doraty (1905–1981) was a Canadian professional ice hockey right wing who played 105 NHL games across three franchises — the Chicago Black Hawks, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Detroit Red Wings — between 1926 and 1938. He began his professional career in the Western Hockey League with the Portland Rosebuds before making his NHL debut with Chicago. On April 3, 1933, Doraty scored at 4:46 of the sixth overtime to give Toronto a 1–0 win over the Boston Bruins, ending what was at the time the longest game in NHL history at 104:46 of overtime. The following January, he scored a hat-trick in overtime against the Ottawa Senators, a feat no other player has accomplished.
