Lance Rentzel

Thomas Lance Rentzel (October 14, 1943 – June 7, 2026) played flanker in the NFL for the Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys, and Los Angeles Rams. A four-sport star at Casady School in Oklahoma City and valedictorian of his class, he played college football at the University of Oklahoma under Bud Wilkinson, where he served as the team's top receiver and punter during his senior season. A versatile halfback known for open-field speed and big-play ability, Rentzel went on to a professional career spanning three NFL franchises across more than a decade in the league.
