Larry Bolonchuk is a Canadian ice hockey defenceman born February 26, 1952, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in 1972, he was left unprotected in the 1974 NHL Expansion Draft and claimed by the Washington Capitals, where he played parts of three seasons through 1977–78. He signed with the Birmingham Bulls of the World Hockey Association in 1978 but did not appear in a game during the WHA's final season. The bulk of his professional career was spent in the International Hockey League. After hockey, Bolonchuk worked as a senior fire prevention officer with the Winnipeg Fire Department.
