Lawrence Joseph Jansen (July 16, 1920 – October 10, 2009) was a right-handed pitcher from Verboort, Oregon. After playing minor league ball with the Salt Lake City Bees and the San Francisco Seals of the Pacific Coast League in the early 1940s, Jansen reached the majors in 1947 with the New York Giants. Over nine big-league seasons he won 122 games and earned two All-Star selections. He later worked as a coach at both the major and minor league levels. Jansen is a member of the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame and the Pacific Coast League Hall of Fame.
