Michael Edward "Mickey" Redmond (born December 27, 1947) is a Canadian professional hockey player who played right wing for the Montreal Canadiens from 1967 to 1971, winning Stanley Cup championships in 1968 and 1969. Midway through the 1970–71 season he was traded to the Detroit Red Wings in the deal that sent Frank Mahovlich to Montreal. Playing on a line centered by Alex Delvecchio, Redmond scored 42 goals the following season. In 1972–73 he became the seventh player in NHL history and the first Red Wing to score 50 goals in a season, finishing with 52 goals and 93 points, surpassing Gordie Howe's franchise record of 49.
