Leroy Mitchell (born September 22, 1944) played cornerback in the AFL and NFL after attending Texas Southern University. He joined the Boston Patriots in 1967 and earned AFL All-Star honors in 1968. Following two seasons in Boston, Mitchell went on to play for the Houston Oilers in 1970 and the Denver Broncos from 1971 through 1973.
