Leslie George "Les" Scarsella (1913-1958) was an American first baseman and left fielder who appeared in 265 Major League Baseball games over all or part of five seasons, with the Cincinnati Reds from 1935 to 1937 and in 1939, and the Boston Bees in 1940. His best season came in 1936, when as the Reds' regular first baseman he appeared in 115 games and batted .313 with 152 hits and 65 runs batted in. After returning to the West Coast in 1941, he spent nine seasons in the Pacific Coast League, batting over .300 six times and winning league Most Valuable Player honors in 1944 and 1946. He was a member of the 1948 Oakland Oaks championship team and was elected to the Pacific Coast League Hall of Fame in 2017.
