Lloyd Mumphord

Lloyd N. Mumphord (born December 20, 1946) is a former American football defensive back. He played college football at Texas Southern University and was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the 16th round of the 1969 NFL Draft. He spent ten professional seasons with the Dolphins (1969-1974) and the Baltimore Colts, appearing in three Super Bowls with Miami and serving as a special teams captain. He was a member of the Dolphins' undefeated 1972 team.
