James Luke Walker (born September 2, 1943) was a left-handed pitcher who played in Major League Baseball from 1965 to 1974, spending the majority of his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates and closing out with the Detroit Tigers in 1974. He worked both as a starter and in relief roles. His most productive season came in 1970, when he went 15–6 with a 3.04 ERA and a .714 winning percentage, finishing third among National League pitchers in ERA, winning percentage, and hits per nine innings. He also contributed to the 1971 World Series championship Pittsburgh club, going 10–8 with a 3.55 ERA.
