Chalmer Luman Harris (January 17, 1915 – November 11, 1996) was a right-handed pitcher from New Castle, Alabama who attended Mortimer Jordan High School before beginning his professional career with the Atlanta Crackers of the Southern Association in 1937. He reached the majors with the Philadelphia Athletics, where he pitched from 1941 through 1944 and again in 1946, then finished with the Washington Senators in 1947, missing the 1945 season while serving in the United States Navy in the Pacific Theater. Across 151 American League appearances, Harris posted a 35–63 record with a 4.16 ERA, striking out 232 batters in 820 innings.
