Marc Boileau

Marc Claude Boileau (September 3, 1932 – December 27, 2000) was a Canadian ice hockey player and coach born in Pointe Claire, Quebec. The son of former NHL player René Boileau, he appeared in 55 NHL games with the Detroit Red Wings during the 1961–62 season; the remainder of his playing career, which ran from 1953 to 1973, was spent primarily in the minor leagues, mainly the Western Hockey League. After retiring as a player, Boileau moved into coaching, leading the Pittsburgh Penguins from 1974 to 1976 and the Quebec Nordiques of the WHA from 1976 to 1978.
