Marlin Thomas McKeever (January 1, 1940 – October 27, 2006) was an NFL linebacker and tight end who played 13 seasons in professional football. Born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and raised in Los Angeles, McKeever and his twin brother Mike were high school All-Americans at Mt. Carmel High School and appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated. At the University of Southern California, McKeever earned All-American honors while lining up at offensive and defensive end, fullback, and punter — a versatility that carried into his professional career, where he transitioned between linebacker and tight end across his 13 seasons in the league.
