Richard Martin Keough (born April 14, 1934, in Oakland, California) was a left-handed outfielder who played Major League Baseball from 1956 through 1966 with six clubs: the Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Indians, Washington Senators, Cincinnati Reds, Atlanta Braves, and Chicago Cubs. He stood 6 feet tall and weighed 180 pounds. In 1968 he played for the Nankai Hawks in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball league. A multi-sport standout at Pomona High School, he was named CIF Southern Section football player of the year in 1951. He is the older brother of outfielder Joe Keough and father of pitcher Matt Keough, making them one of the few American father-son pairs to both play professionally in Japan.
