Marvin Wayne Edwards (August 15, 1934 – May 20, 2023) was a Canadian ice hockey goaltender who played 61 games in the National Hockey League with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Toronto Maple Leafs, and California Golden Seals between 1969 and 1974. Born in St. Catharines, Ontario, he played junior hockey with the St. Catharines Teepees of the Ontario Hockey Association, winning the Memorial Cup in 1954. He made his NHL debut with Pittsburgh on February 20, 1969, then was claimed by Toronto in the intraleague draft, playing 25 games for the Maple Leafs in 1969-70 with a 3.26 goals-against average and one shutout. Internationally, he was part of the Canadian team that won gold at the 1959 World Championships.
