Marvin Lawrence Cobb (born August 6, 1953) was a safety in the National Football League who played high school football at Notre Dame High School in Riverside, California, before attending USC. At USC he earned two National Championship rings in football (1972, 1974) and two College World Series titles in baseball (1973, 1974) as a shortstop. The Cincinnati Bengals selected him in the 11th round of the 1975 NFL draft. He played five seasons with Cincinnati (1975–1979), appearing in 71 games, starting 54, and recording 13 interceptions while lining up at both free and strong safety. He later had stints with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings.
