Mike Montler (January 11, 1944 – December 13, 2018) was a professional football offensive lineman who played ten seasons across the AFL and NFL. He attended the University of Colorado, earning All-American honors in 1968. Montler played for the Boston/New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, Denver Broncos, and Detroit Lions. With Buffalo, he served as starting center in 1973 and 1974, anchoring an offensive line alongside Reggie McKenzie and Hall of Famer Joe DeLamielleure. The 1973 Bills finished 9–5, the season O.J. Simpson became the first running back to rush for over 2,000 yards.
