Dossier
Mike Tresh was a catcher who played in the major leagues from 1938 to 1949. He spent the bulk of his career with the Chicago White Sox, from 1938 to 1948, and finished with the Cleveland Indians in 1949. He was selected to the All-Star Game in 1945, a season in which he caught all 150 of the White Sox's games, making him one of three twentieth-century catchers to catch every one of a team's games in a season. His son, Tom Tresh, played in the major leagues from 1961 to 1969.
