Morris Lukowich is a Canadian left winger born June 1, 1956, in Speers, Saskatchewan. After three seasons of junior hockey with the Medicine Hat Tigers — capped by a 65-goal, 142-point campaign — he was selected 47th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1976 NHL Amateur Draft but chose instead to sign with the Houston Aeros of the WHA, partly to play alongside Gordie Howe. He later joined the Winnipeg Jets, then moved to the Boston Bruins and Los Angeles Kings. Over eight NHL seasons and 582 games, Lukowich recorded 199 goals and 219 assists for 418 points.
