Nils Johansson

Nils Johansson is a Swedish ice hockey defenceman born on 24 July 1938. He represented Sweden at the 1964 and 1968 Winter Olympics, finishing second and fourth respectively. Between 1960 and 1970 he earned 168 caps for the Swedish national team, winning the World Championship in 1962 and taking silver in 1963, 1967, 1969, and 1970. In 1964 he received the Goldpucken Award as the top Swedish player and was named to the Swedish all-star team. He was awarded the Rinkens riddare for sportsmanship in 1971 and later coached Färjestads BK, Hanhals IF, and IF Mölndal Hockey.
