Norman S. Standlee (1919–1981) was a fullback and linebacker in professional football. He played college football at Stanford before the Chicago Bears selected him third overall in the 1941 NFL Draft. As a rookie, he finished fourth in the league in rushing with 414 yards and second in average per carry at 5.1, helping Chicago win the NFL championship over the New York Giants. After serving in World War II, Standlee became the first fullback for the San Francisco 49ers of the All-America Football Conference, playing alongside Frankie Albert, Johnny Strzykalski, and Len Eshmont in the team's inaugural backfield.
