Paul Gardner (born March 5, 1956, Fort Erie, Ontario) is a Canadian centre who played in the National Hockey League during the late 1970s and early 1980s. The son of NHL player Cal Gardner and younger brother of Dave Gardner, he was drafted by the Kansas City Scouts in 1976, a franchise that relocated to Denver and became the Colorado Rockies before he suited up. Gardner turned pro with the Rockies' farm team, the Rhode Island Reds, but spent the bulk of his rookie season in the NHL, posting 30 goals and 59 points in 60 games. He later transitioned to coaching, most recently with Löwen Frankfurt in Germany.
