Paul Thompson

Paul Thompson is an American ice hockey forward born November 30, 1988, in Derry, New Hampshire. After posting 51 goals in 50 games with the New Hampshire Junior Monarchs of the Eastern Junior Hockey League in 2006–07 — earning EJHL Offensive Player of the Year honors — he enrolled at the University of New Hampshire. In 2010–11 Thompson won Hockey East Player of the Year, led the conference in scoring, and led the nation in power play goals. He had been ranked 72nd among North American skaters by NHL Central Scouting in 2007, the highest-ranked North American player not selected in that year's NHL entry draft.
