Pete Banaszak

Pete Banaszak (born May 21, 1944, in Crivitz, Wisconsin) was a running back who spent his entire professional career with the Oakland Raiders. He played college football for the Miami Hurricanes before joining Oakland in the American Football League in 1966. Banaszak remained with the Raiders through the AFL-NFL merger, continuing in the NFL from 1970 through 1978. Before football, he was a standout multi-sport athlete at Crivitz High School, winning the Wisconsin Class C state discus championship in both 1961 and 1962 and setting a Class C record in 1962.
