Pete Liske (born May 24, 1942, Plainfield, New Jersey) was a professional football quarterback who played college football at Penn State from 1961 to 1963. A graduate of Plainfield High School, he became a starter for the Nittany Lions in 1962 and 1963, throwing for 1,037 yards and 12 touchdowns in 1962 and 1,117 yards and 10 touchdowns in 1963. Before completing his Penn State eligibility, he was drafted in 1963 by both the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles — tenth round, 130th overall — and a corresponding AFL club. He later worked as a university athletics administrator.
